He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Troy Stine and Norma Duke; his uncle Richard Stine; and his grandson Cullain Fuller. He is survived by: his father John Freeman; his children, Neta Bowden, Colby Scott Freeman (Chealse), Ashley Ann Freeman (Brad), Amanda Marie Freeman (Chad), Aspen, Culain, Orion, Kaiden and Kolten; his grandson Culain; his mother Rebecca Ann Stine (McElhannon); his brothers, John Freeman (Sandra), James McElhannon and Jacob McElhannon (Ellie McElhannon); his wife Machelle Freeman; the mother of his children Neta Austin; his grandchildren, Aspen, Kaiden and Kolten; his stepson Tristan Satterlee (Kaylee Curtis); his aunts, Marie Higgins, Jean Stine and Terry (Ron Smallwood); and also, Rowan and Layne. He is also survived by Friends, Medicinal Family, and close friends.

During his stay Jeff experienced never before seizures, had to be 'vented, full Cardiac Arrest, medically induced coma, COVID and a fungal infection.
