James Starr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Starr of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, born in Okemah, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Starr and Lena Starr (Taylor); and his siblings, Daniel Starr, Rose Starr, Emma Starr Factor, Sally Jackson and Mandy Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica Starr; his stepson Jacob Bruce of Tulsa; his stepgrandson Ian Irizarry of Tulsa; and his sisters, Allene Starr of Okmulgee and Amy Reagan (Jerry) of Okmulgee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He traveled many places, working with horses as a horse trainer, automotive mechanic, stone mason, worked with a Ram-jack, foundation repair.
