He is survived by: his children, Judy and Boogie; his adoptive son Clifton Poole; his granddaughters, Scherryl Coulter, Quinta Willis and Hayley Tuggle; his children, Judith Motte Johnson (James) and Carlton Pierce of Okmulgee, OK; his granddaughter Brenna Pierce; his siblings, Mary Ann Jefferson (Robert) of Okmulgee, OK, Angela McKnight (Kenneth), Gina Brinkley of Tulsa, OK, Walter Pierce of Oklahoma City, OK, Jerry Pierce (Joyce) of Ft. Worth, TX, Donald Johnson of Tulsa, OK, Alfonso Pierce of Tulsa, OK and Kenneth Pierce of Washington, D. C.; and his sister-in-law Delores Bennett of San Francisco, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
