It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Wayne Cottrell Sr. of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Anderson, Sr. and Ruby Cottrell; and his siblings, Melvin Anderson, Jr., Phillip Anderson, Sherman Anderson, Gerald Anderson and Deloise Oakley.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Wayne Cottrell, Jr. (Crystal), Roshawn Cottrell, Dion Cottrell (Kathy), Brandon Cottrell (LeCretia), Christopher Cottrell (Charmaine), Tracy Gage and Tiffany Gage; his siblings, Marvin Anderson, Sharon Anderson, Orlando Oakley and Yvonne Lewis; and also Harold White. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
