He is survived by: his parents, Robert Befort and Sophia Befort (Butts); his wife Dee Ann; his stepdaughter Ariel Wigington; his sister Stephanie Garis (Charles) of Garber; his mother-in-law Donna Brummett; and his sisters-in-law, Dannell Brummett and Denise Barnhart (Jeff). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
