It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Marie Stephens of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, born in McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sutton and Bessie Sutton; her husband Floyd; her son Gary Stephens; and her siblings, Walter H. Sutton, LRay Sutton, Dewayne Sutton and Mary Faye Houghland.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelley Stephens of Beggs; her daughter-in-law Angie Stephens of Henryetta; her granddaughters, Jodi Smith of Beggs and Jami Ballenger (Clay) of Tulsa; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Newton of Glenpool, Wyatt Ballenger of Norman and Carrie Ballenger of Tulsa.
