He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Alford and Myrtle A. Evans (Wiggins); and his son Eddie Evans, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Linda Evans; his daughter Edie Williamson (Tommy); his grandchildren, Shai, Kristian, Devin, Mitchell, Chase and Tyler; and his sister Timmie Garis. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
