She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Smith and Mary Katherine Smith (Puckett); her children, Connie Gunter and Bobby Gunter; her brothers, Charles Smith and John Smith; and her granddaughter Emily Whitney.
She is survived by: her husband Coyie Gunter, Sr. (Donna); her children, Coyie Gunter, Jr., Debbie Gunter and Tammy Albrightson; her grandchildren, Nicholas B. Basquez, Jessica, Amanda Beasley (Chance), Michael Don Martin (Candice), Amber Wright (Charles), Brooklyn Gunter and Mary Putman (Danny); her sister-in-law Annette Smith; and her siblings, James Smith, Billy Smith and Jean Lackey. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many other family members.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Church (1201 Center St, Henryetta, OK 74437).
