He is survived by: his children, Derek, Michiah, Daniel Shane, Alexander Simmer, Candice Lynn, Tiara and Aunjena Simmer; and his siblings, Bertha Primeaux, Chris Mack and Mitchell Simmer. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
