She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roy Love and Margret Lucille Morgan; and her brothers, Everett Lee Love, Orville Thomas Love, Donald "Duck" Lee Morgan of Lewis Jackson and James Richard "Jimmy" Gartrell.
She is survived by: her husband Allan Dale Chandler; her children, Christine Williams, Gwen America, Marvin Hodges, Brian Chandler and Jonathon Scott Chandler; her close friend Allan Chandler; and her sisters, JoAnn Taylor and Velma Moore. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Porta Caeli House at https://portacaeli.org, a nonprofit organization that provided a place where Carol lived out her remaining days in a comfortable, loving, caring and dignified manner as well as provided meals for her family.
