It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Calvert of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jo Calvert to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Owen and Cora Owen; her husband Harlin Calvert; and her siblings, Gladys Myers, Barbara Blatchford, Margaret Pierce, Robert Tyler of Curtis Tyler, J. C, Bill Tyler and Leo Tyler.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Taggart (Keith) of Del City, Linda Blevins of Okmulgee, Lisa Calvert of Okmulgee, Harlin Virgil Jr. of Alvarado, TX and Gary Calvert (Tammy) of Henryetta; and her grandchildren, Katie Maxwell (Kris), Melissa Elizabeth Calvert (Buffy) of Texas, Gary Calvert II, Aaron Pullum-Calvert (Brian), Kari Dyer (Josh), Kaci Floranda (Bernard), Brian Blevins and Becky Shrum (D. J.). She is also survived by many great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Integrity Funeral Service (410 E Trudgeon St, Henryetta, OK 74437). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Henryetta Church of Christ (413 W Broadway, Henryetta, OK 74437). A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Lenna Cemetery.
