He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Joseph Karban, Sr. and Edna Vermalen Karban; his brother Larry Patrick; his son-in-law Tony Hoady; his former wife Carol Wier; his great-niece Emily Nowels; and his great-nephew Evan Nowels.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Gillian Andrews, Olive, Misha and Izaac Adams; and his siblings, Roger, James, Michael Karban and RoseMaryanne Karban of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces.
