He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis A. Dixon and Eleanore K. Dixon of Minnesota. He is survived by: his wife Diann Dixon of Oklahoma City; his children, Teresa Dixon of Florida, Melissa Dixon-Babin (Jeromy) of Louisiana, Nicole Dixon-Morelli (Bill) of Florida, Stephan J. Dixon (Colette) of Florida, Nathan Dixon (Angela) of Louisiana and Mark Dixon (Lauren) of Arizona; his stepson Christopher Grasso of Florida; and his siblings, Ingrid Le Fevre (Dixon) of Minnesota, Christopher Dixon of Minnesota, Mathew Dixon of Minnesota and Lukas Dixon of Minnesota. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
