It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelly Victoria Whaley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Shelly Victoria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shelly Victoria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Thompson and Jo Ann Thompson Slavin; her mother-in-law Darlene Whaley; and her siblings, Rex Sutherland and Wanda Lou Sutherland.
She is survived by: her husband Brian Whaley; her pet Chester; and her sisters, Lou Smith, Belinda Lee, Cricket Sutherland and Crystal Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; a soon-to-be great-nephew; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
