She was predeceased by: her parents, David Russell and Virginia Russell. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Cory; her sons, Joe Cory (Jane), Bill Cory (Kasey) and John Cory (Heather); her grandchildren, Stephen, Katherine, Emily, Sarah, Madelyn, Joey and Andrew Cory; her sisters, Ruth Roland, Sue Clifford and Alice Ziegler; and her nieces and nephews, David, Julia, Steve Clifford, Mike, Randy Roland, Sister Mary Beata, Laura Schawe, Ellen Weiner, Brian Ziegler, Lisa and Brad Poarch.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Smith & Kernke Funeral Homes & Crematory (14624 N May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73134). A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (8005 Dorset Dr, Nichols Hills, OK 73116).
In Lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made in Sandy's name to the Alzheimer's Association to continue the research for a cure.
