She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Hestand and Bertha Hestand; and her brother Rick Hestand. She is survived by: her husband John D. Smith; her sons, Steve (Karolyn), Mike (Glenda) and JD; and her siblings, Wayne Hestand, Terry Hestand and Rita Ewald.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vondel Smith Mortuary (4000 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73173). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery - Okc (13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131).
