He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellis and Mary Charlotte Gilbert (Veal); his wife Millie Uvoyne Carter; and his siblings, Hubert, Raymond, John F. Gilbert, Inez Coffey, June Hickman, Delcine Young and Clara Wallace.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Brazell (Troy) of Yukon and Sondra Gilbert of Wynnewood; his grandchildren, Jeffery Gilbert Brazell (Starlett), Amber Kruger (Kirk), Cristin Eades (Scott) and Mindy Daino (Kalani); his great grandchildren, Rebel Brazell, Tallyn Brazell (Jade), Ellie Brazell, Ben Davis, Kent Norman Davis, Robbie Eades, Rylee Courtwright, Tai Stuart, James Daino and Caylee Daino; his sister Patsy Riley of Oklahoma City; and his great great grandchild Aliza Jane.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Joy Baptist Church (37055 US-77, Wynnewood, OK 73098).
