With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Wanell Swope (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Stewart and William Briscoe. She is survived by: her son Steve (Doug); her daughter-in-law Katie; her grandchildren, Avery, Eli and Neve Swope; her son Doug; her sister Norma Lewis (Nancy Walker) of Oklahoma City; and her nieces and nephews, Gordon Lewis and Tracy Cox.
In lieu of flowers, you can donate to the purchase of a tree that will be donated to Nichols Hills Elementary playground to plant in the butterfly garden that was dedicated in 2007 in Martha's name.
