Marie Ashworth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Ashworth (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Mae (Cooper) and Cloyes B. Punneo; her husband John Webster Ashworth; her brothers, Cloyes J. Punneo (Junior) and Derral Punneo; and her grandson Selby Egender, III.
She is survived by: her children, John Allen Ashworth (Paula) and Betty L. Egender (Selby); her grandchildren, Shea Ashworth (Lisa), Brad Ashworth (Amber), Ginger Moffat and Shelby Egender; and her brother Larry Punneo (Mary). She is also survived by 19 Great Grandchildren; 14 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary South Colonial Chapel (6934 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139).
