He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Hugh Evetts and Ruby Oramae Evetts (Seth); his wife Marilyn Evetts; his daughter Nanette Evetts; his stepdaughter Dawn Moss; his brother Kenneth Evetts; and his sister-in-law Marvele Evetts.

He is survived by: his children, Chad Evetts (Barbara), Seth Evetts (Sarah) and Robin Evetts; his grandchildren, Ethan Evetts, Ryann Evetts and Scarlett Evetts; his stepchildren, Curtis Moss Jr., Tim Moss and Tina Johnson; his stepgrandchildren, Crystal Ellis, Hannah Fields, Susie Jackson, Nicholas Moss, James Moss and Josh Moss; his nieces, Kristi Evetts and Sheri Harrison; and his pets, Tyler and Brandy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
