With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Ruben Villegas Aguilar (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anastacio Villegas and Ma Josefina Villegas (Aguilar); and his sister Angelica Villegas. He is survived by: his wife Rocio Varela; his children, Rolando Villegas, Daniel Villegas, Maria Soledad, Carina Villegas and Lilia Villegas; and his siblings, Martin Villegas, Consepcion Villegas, Alicia Villegas, Joana Villegas, Guadalupe Villegas, Margarita Villegas and Maria Felix Villegas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary South (6934 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Little Flower Catholic Church (1125 S Walker Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109). A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens - Oklahoma City (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73159).
