He was predeceased by: his parents, John Steakley and Helen Steakley; and his brother Steve Steakley. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Kristi Steakley (Jonathan) of Oklahoma City, Anna Johnson (Jay) of Edmond, Matt Francis (Sonya) of Austin and John Francis (Amie) of Broken Arrow; his sisters, Cinde Michaud (Tom) of Edmond, Debi Young (David) of Arcadia, Leigh Ann Adams of Newcastle and Trish Ewing of Houston; and his grandchildren, Chance Harmon, Perry Kearnes, Scott Francis, Julian Johnson, Brooklyn Sims, Camron Sims, Tate Sims, Sophia Francis and Logan Sylvester. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and thirty-one Nieces and thirty-two Nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Baggerley Funeral Home (930 S Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034).
