He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Mettel Durst and Howard Scott Durst; his nephew John Baker; and his mother-in-law Harriet Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Marian Martha Ervin Durst; his children, James Howard Durst (Amy Durst), Douglas David Durst (Elizabeth Aileen Welty), John Robert Orville Durst (Amanda Durst) and Celeste Blair King; his grandchildren, Justin, Carson, Keegan, Breyden, Amber, Hank, James, Cody, Gus and Clara; and his sisters, Ann Baker (Ken Baker), Ruth Durst and Franci Addy (Chuck Addy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Service (8712 N Council Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132).
