He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Schatz (Peterson) and John Jacob Schatz; and his brothers, Victor and Bernard Schatz. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Schatz; his daughters, Lori Landreth (Ronnie), Kerri Scott and Holly Hamon (Chris); his stepdaughter Amber Ashworth (Brad); his grandchildren, Brooke Landreth, McCall Gibbs (Luther), Lauren Winfield, Caden Winfield, Cashten Scott, Zoe Ashworth, Sheriden Thomsen, Chance Thomsen, Makenzy Sanders (Joshua), Ashlen Hamon and Carson Hamon; and his great grandchildren, Hank and Josie Sanders.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary (6934 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Sunny Lane Cemetery (4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK 73115).
He became a general contractor and specialized in home foundation leveling, foundation repairs and French drains as Metro-Plex Foundation & Drain Systems.
