He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Burl Guild and Adah Boyd Herring Guild. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Corkern Guild; his daughter Haley Moore (Sean); his grandsons, Hunter and Miles; and his brothers, Rick Guild of Tulsa and Jim Guild of Houston.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that gifts be made to City Team Oakland (cityteam.org and select Oakland), which is now the name of the mission where Howard taught.
