He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Meinders and Francis Meinders; his wife LaDonna Kramer Meinders; and his daughter Kathryn Ann Meinders. He is survived by: his daughter Christine Marie Meinders; his siblings, Donna Licquia, Don Meinders, Bob Meinders and Linda Drumm (John); and his stepchildren, Mark Gooden, Lori Ode (Chris), John Gooden (Jody) and Joe Gooden. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crossings Community Church (14600 Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73134).
Among his proudest achievements was donating his beloved Diamond H Ranch in Cookson, Oklahoma, to the Last Frontier Council, Boy Scouts of America — a place where generations of Scouts will continue to explore, learn, and grow.
