She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Susie (Brown) and Jeff Hassan Nordine; her husbands, Ralph Downey and Fred Taunton; her son Fred Downey; and her siblings, Ollie, Elbert, Burl, Carl Nordine, Freda Weaver, Doris Nordine and Margie Nordine.

She is survived by: her brother Don Nordine (Nancy); her son Jeff Downey (Lori); her grandchildren, Jonathan and Emily Downey; her children, Glenda Taunton Jarnagin and James Taunton; her grandchildren, Jason Jarnagin (Jamie) and Ginger Liles (James); and her great grandchildren, Austin Jarnagin (Sierra), Colby Jarnagin, Cooper Jarnagin, Raigan, Jett, Cayson and Blaze Liles.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens (500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Hills Baptist Church (8601 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159).
