We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2018, at the age of 71, Galen Nichols (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
The message dictates the medium." Galen was born and raised in Oklahoma to Earl E. and Mary Louise (Loy) Nichols. He served in the Air Force, graduated from OU with BFA, worked as a free-lance graphic designer, and later retired from The Oklahoma Publishing Company. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary, his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, Tami, Matthew, and Leigh Morris, his brother, Lynn, his sister, Karen Phillips, and their families. A private burial is planned. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude's or OKC Cancer Research.
