He was predeceased by: his parents, W. O. Pitts and Sarah Pitts (Barton); his siblings, Kenneth, Wiley, Lena Scott and Dorothy Whitfield; his second wife Vickie Pitts; and his granddaughter Harley Jane Pitts.
He is survived by: his siblings, Francine Anderlohr, Janice Walker, Verdell Pitts and Emzla Pitts; his children, David (Stacie Pitts), Terri Pitts and Ryan (Hillary Pitts); his stepson Jimmy Biffle; his grandchildren, Jacey (Pitts) (Aidan "Big Dog" Penman), Baylee (Cade Heavin), Rylee Pitts, Reagan Pitts, Stephen Biffle, Paul, Morgan Carter and Macie Carter; his great grandchildren, Parker Penman and Hunter Heavin; and his former wife Dorothy Martin (Doughty). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hope Church (281300 E 1790 Rd, Comanche, OK 73533). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
