She was predeceased by: her daughter Alyssa Ruiz; and her brother Alonzo Ruiz Aguirre. She is survived by: her parents, Enrique Ruiz Rodriguez and Sylvia Aguirre of Ruiz; her sons, Andrez Ruiz and Aaron Ruiz; and her siblings, Rosa Ruiz (Héctor) of Hernandez and Luis Enrique Ruiz (Rosy).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vondel Smith Mortuary (4000 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73173). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ruiz's Funeral Service (2121 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Heritage Burial Park (4000 SW 119th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73173).
