He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin McWaters and Lillian McWaters (Wollenberg); his wife Rosetta McWaters; his siblings, Bill McWaters, Jr., Teddy McWaters and Mildred Schrack; and his siblings-in-law, Everett Owens, Glen Owens, Earlene Pershica, Patricia Slutzky, Bonnie Urbin, Susie Mata and Glenda Owens.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory McWaters and Chuck McWaters (Joni); his grandchildren, Von Paul McWaters, Emilee Carter and Dan Robertson; his brother Dale McWaters; and his brothers-in-law, Lindell Owens (Regina) and Kenny Owens.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary South (6934 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
