She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thornton and Arletta Thornton; her husband David Kirtley; and her siblings, Betty, Evelyn Thornton, Gaylon and Raymond Thornton.

She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Cook; her son-in-law Jeff Cook of Edmond; her son Stephen Kirtley of Oklahoma City; and her sister Donna Norton of California. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mercer-Adams Funeral Service (3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008).
