He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Yargee (Sutv) and Winey Yargee (Scott); his son Christopher Merritt (Blue); and his siblings, Roman Yargee, Joseph Yargee, Samuel Yargee, Dave Yargee, John King, Wallace Scott, Henry Yargee, Steve Yargee, Bobby Yargee, Bessie Wise Talamassey and Phylis Yargee.
He is survived by: his wife Amy; his daughters, Sharon Yargee (George Factor) of Wetumka, Gayle Yargee (Adam West) and Esther Yargee of Seminole; his siblings, Jacky Yargee of Okemah, Evelyn McLemore of Wetumka, Rovena Yargee of Holdenville and Josephine Yargee of Holdenville; his uncle Turner Scott; his grandchildren, Joshua Roberts, Cynda Factor, Madison Factor, Tema Yargee, Suntilla Jack, Sutv Jack, Akeeyah Merritt of Bryce Merritt, C. J, Raeleigh Merritt and Chandra Vasquez; and his great grandchildren, Kian Roberts, Draven George, Ava Hicks, Leeann Chavez, Natalie Chavez and Lorena Santacruz. He is also survived by friends and nieces and nephews.
