It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elaine Thomas of Okemah, Oklahoma, born in Stratford, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Strawn and Frances Lavern Strawn (Willoughby); and her sister Joyce Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Gary "Red" Thomas; her son Terry Thomas of Okemah; her siblings, Ted Strawn (Scarlett) of Okemah and Kathy Painter of Okemah; her grandchildren, Tyler Thomas (Rachel) of Prague, Cassidy "Cassie" Osborn (Quinton Blain) of Shawnee and Seth Thomas of Okemah; and her great grandchildren, Vivian, Kolar Thomas, Eli, Foster, Halle, Brigham Osborn, Kaya, Stone, Liam Thomas and Leah Osborn.
