With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James LeFlore Buie (Okemah, Oklahoma), born in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 15, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Manley and Josephine LeFlore Buie (Long); and his sisters, Syble Shropshire (John) and Mable Doris Buie. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Langenberg; his son Kim Lowell Buie of Little Rock, Ark.; his former wife Velma Walker; his daughter Angela Rose Buie (Todd) of Weleetka; his grandson James LeFlore Buie II; his daughter Carol Ciesiensky (Mike) of Tickfaw; his grandchildren, Bradley, Jamie, Tracy of Michael, J. B, Bonnie, Dakota and Josie; his brother Travis Buie of Eufaula; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Walker (Connie) of Okemah Ok, Lucille Walker, Helen Boston and Nancy Green. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was especially proud of his contributions to the 747.
