He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Dewell Deaton (Fox); his son Damian; his grandson Brad Stoner; and his siblings, Bill, Chuck Deaton, Maxine Geller, Geraldine Winters, Sharon Jones and Lauryne Hensley.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Don Deaton of Cashion, OK, Teresa Karnes of Cashion, OK and Amiee Romero of Las Vegas, Nevada; his brother Duane Deaton (Herb) of Edmond, OK; his grandchildren, Leslie, Fred Hoke of Broken Arrow, OK and Briana Stoner of Owasso, OK; and his great grandchildren, Julian, Emmaline Hoke, Brooklynn Hoke, Sierra Kelly, Sterling Dick and Jennifer Sullivan of Okemah, OK..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home (301 N 3rd St, Okemah, OK 74859). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Welty Cemetery.
