She was predeceased by: her parents, Arra Ryker and Bethel Ryker (Wolf); her husbands, Jim Dowell and James "Sonny" Dunson; her son Jimmie Brent Dowell; and her siblings, Norman, Eugene, Wilma Jackson and Mary Ellen Copeland.
She is survived by: her children, Toby Dowell (Pam) of Okemah and Page Davidson (Joe Don) of Broken Arrow; her brothers, Joe Ryker (Janet) of Owasso and Steve Ryker of Lake Charles, Louisiana; her sister-in-law Ruth Ryker of Wichita, Kansas; her grandchildren, Ryker Davidson (Emily), Breckyn Hudelson (Derek), Zachary Dowell (Chelsea), Landon Dowell, Tanner Dowell, Skylar Dowell and Annabelle Dowell; and her great grandchildren, Barrett and Everly Davidson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Okemah Public School Foundation in memory of Cynthia Dunson.
