Garry Lee Bennett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 75, Garry Lee Bennett of OKeene, Oklahoma, born in Alma, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparent Grandpa Lowe (Grandma Lowe); his parents, June Lowe Boone and Earl Bennett; his siblings, Carolyn Murray, Sharon McDonald, Wayne Bennett, Jackie Bennett and Howard Bennett; his children, Tracy Herron and Albert Bennett; and his grandson Austin Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bennett of Okeene; his sons, Garry Earl Bennett of Okeene and David Bennett (Jeana Bennett) of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Jasmine Sessions, Kayla Bennett, Derrick Bennett, Jenna Matousek, Camiel Spangler (Dominick Spangler), Tori Bennett and Timothy Bennett; and his great grandchildren, Kirie Bennett, Maliah Bennett, Casey Bennett and Hudson Molnar. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lanman Funeral Home - Okeene (209 N Main St, Okeene, OK 73763). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Baptist Church (502 N 3rd St, Okeene, OK 73763). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Collins Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to the NRC building fund through the funeral home.
