We bid farewell to Melvin Gene Pendley of Ochelata, Oklahoma, born in Greenfield, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 22, 2024 at the age of 86. Melvin Gene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillard Pendley and Vida Simmons Pendley; his brother Bob Pendley; his wife Thelma Jean Cox; his daughter Debbie Pendley Wood (Gary); his grandson Michael Wood (Sheila); his great grandchildren, Alli Wood of Bartlesville and Cooper Wood of Bartlesville; and also, Carolyn Sue Wright of Davis, Oklahoma. and John Beene of Ardmore.
