It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Louise Self of Ochelata, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Rodney Self Sr.; her grandparents, Gale, Ardath Self, Roy and Edith Glaspie; her sister Angela Self; her stepfather Kenneth Maddox; her aunt Melody Self; and her uncle Earl Glaspie.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Maddox of Ochelata; her husband Timothy Meloy; her children, Andy Meloy of Sedan, KS., Stacey (Bryon Harmon) of Ochelata, Stephaney (Jeremy Fisher) and Daniel (Melissa Branstetter); her grandchildren, Madison Harmon, Emberlyn Fisher, Brodie Harmon, Jacob, Wyatt and Blake Fisher; and her siblings, Traci Self, Ami Brooks, Rodney Self Jr. (Angie) and Patrick Self (Yement). She is also survived by several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.
