He is survived by: his son Gary Dean Smith; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Smith; his grandchildren, Caleb Smith of Kansas, Corinthia Smith, Jocelyn Smith, Jorden Smith, Leslie Sue O'Neal (Smith), Jason Smith, Terri Bradshaw and Megan O'Neal; and his great grandchild Candance Smith.
