He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Charles and Alma Pearl Minor; his siblings, Charles Minor, Jimmie Minor, Bonnie Minor Hagenhoff and Naomi Minor; his great grandchild Kade Minor; his wife Carolyn Grady; his children, Bill Minor (Brenda), Karrie Stutsman (Bill) and Kim Nissen (Kelly); his grandchildren, Alan Coonfield (Donna), Dustin Minor, Zack Minor, Heath Houser, Cody Nissen, Chad Nissen, Chance Nissen, Heather Houser Aldrich, Chasity Lafferty Bryan and Jackie Lafferty; and his great grandchildren, Harper Minor, McKenzie Aldrich, Trey Aldrich, Lane Houser, Emry Houser, Kamrie Nissen, Jaxon Nissen, Grady Nissen, Audrey Nissen, Bear Nissen, Lily Nissen and Carson Nissen.
