It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Wayne Benfer of Nowata, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ruth Starns and Everett Leroy Benfer Sr. Later; his brother Danny Benfer; his nephew Rickey Benfer; his great-nephew Remington Benfer; and his close friend Richard Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Benfer; his children, Patrick Benfer (Christy), Lacy Joslin, Ashley Hayes (Tim), Christopher Van Natta (Phebe), Zachary Van Natta (Natasha) and Jeffery Van Natta; his siblings, Ricky Benfer, Everett Benfer Jr. (Laurie Hall), David Benfer and Rena Hicks (Tim); and his close friend Tater. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
