With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Louise Pierson of Nowata, Oklahoma, born in Baxter Springs, Kansas, who passed away on July 29, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Urshel C. Miller and Maudine E. Miller (Phillips); her son Mike Pierson; and her brother Urshel Lee Miller. She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Pierson (Shirley) of Nowata and Chris Pierson of Nowata; her grandchildren, Chasity Parnell (Chris) of Coweta, Meredith Pierson, Daniel Pierson, Trenton Weirather and Tyler Weirather; and her great grandchildren, Shaun Woods, Case Parnell, Liam Pierson and Collin Parnell.
