He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Russell and Esther Russell; and his siblings, Albert, Jack, Jim and Gerri Kruspe.

He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Codispiti of Navarre, Esther Oprandi of North Canton and Barry (Mary) of Brunswick; and his close friend Joe Degannett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
