She was predeceased by : her parents, Murl Archie and Lottie Gibbens (Westeman); her husband Gene Hilgenfeld; her sons, Mike Hilgenfeld and Terry Hilgenfeld; and her children-in-law, Janet Hilgenfeld and Brewster Hobby.

She is survived by : her children, Jim Hilgenfeld (Kathy), Connie Hobby, La Nita Hilgenfeld and Lee Ann Gage (Gary); her daughter-in-law Susan Hilgenfeld; her grandchildren, Brian Hilgenfeld (Laura), Blake Hilgenfeld (Shanae), Drew Hilgenfeld (Holly), Kelli Porter (Justin), Cara Mackey (Travis), Grant Gage and Taylor Perry (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Luke, Brayden, Cale, Cali, Elli, Davis, Mason, Kathryn, Ethan, Landon, Isaac, Beau and Brooke.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tribute Memorial (708 24th Ave NW, Norman, OK 73069). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (211 W Comanche St, Norman, OK 73069). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at the Ioof Cemetery (1913 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071).
