He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Everett and Thelma Marie Carter (Hudspeth); and his brothers, Wilburn and Boyd Carter. He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Christine (Jeff) of Norman, OK; his granddaughters, Mackenzie Leighanne, Kennedi Nicole, Rylie Christine and Brooklynn Alex; his wife Bonnie Susan Carter (Mullins) of Norman, OK; his daughter Danielle Minor (Curtis) of Albuquerque; his granddaughters, Mackenzie Leighanne Baker of McKinney, TX, Kennedi Nicole Baker of Albuquerque, NM, Rylie Christine Goodman of Norman, OK and Brooklynn Alex Baker of Albuquerque, NM; and his sisters, Jo Rhyne of Fort Gibson, OK and Rita Boydstun (Dudley) of Muskogee, OK. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
