He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Irmgard; and his wife Kathleen "Kay" Patton Brueckner. He is survived by: his children, Alfred Robert Brueckner, Frank Brueckner (Rita), Marlene Corbett (Randy) and Karin Thomas (Wayne); his grandchildren, Nathan Corbett, Michael Thomas and Rebecca Thomas; and his great grandchild Jackson Louis Corbett.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Service & Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery (1109 N Porter Ave, Norman, OK 73071). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (603 Classen Blvd, Norman, OK 73071).
