He was predeceased by: his father Valjean Summars; his grandparents, Clyde, Gladys Key, Merle and Clarence Reeder; and his sister-in-law Kathy Summars.
He is survived by: his mother Dorla Summars (Key); his friend Sharron Reynolds; his wife Janet Fanning Summars; his daughter Emily Jeffries; his son-in-law Chris; his siblings, Roger Summars, Gigi Zender and Karen Jo Anne Scott; his sister-in-law Joyce Green (Jim); and his nieces and nephews, Kalyn Kyler (Ross), Eric Summars (Jessica), Susan Cenciceros (Felix), James Jones (Katy) and Josh Scott.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Paul Summars to the University of Oklahoma College of Law General Scholarship Fund, Blue Lakes Baptist Church, Oklahoma Foundation Quarter Horse Registry, or the charity of your choice.
