She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Ellis McCalip and Ollie McCalip (Ward); her husband Delbert Mize; her daughter Karen Searcy; and her siblings, Leroy McCalip, James McCalip, Floyd McCalip, Kenny McCalip, Leota Powers, Lovie Drain, Jerldine Parnell and Ruby Mize.
She is survived by: her children, Farren Mize (Wilma), Darren Mize (Tammy) and Sharon Searcy (Rickey); and her grandchildren, Brent Searcy, Javonia Searcy, Chandra Lundy, Derrick Mize, Tamara Monroe, Starla Crawford, Lesley Poulin, Sheryl Edwards, Tyler Searcy, Kyle Searcy and Bradly Searcy. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
